Marketing

The peanut butter version of the candy bar was largely marketed by word of mouth related to the success of the original candy bar at first. Snickers have worked harder in recent years to market the new “squares” version of their bars which was launched with the peanut butter version of this new bar shape first.

Snickers Peanut Butter products seem not to have needed much of a push to be successful, but recently there have been bigger efforts by Mars to make people aware that these products exist.
